A positive mindset is a key for the many opportunities in our lives. One way to achieve this positive altitude is through positive affirmations. Many of you already poses this precious feelings'mostly it come from yours childhood when adults on several occasions repeats these same positive words how wonderful you are, how brilliant you perform, … etc. Basically they programmed you to be successful. On the other side there is majority of folks who were not so lucky. Well here positive affirmations can really throw the door wide open.
The principle is a simple one'we just perform very powerful and positive self-talk on daily basis. At first it can be very silly, because your mind can not accept these positive words instantaneously. For your mind you are still this poor and unlucky gay. But after repeating those affirmations day after day this image would slowly withdraw making room for a new, brighter one'image from your affirmations.
There is only one rule for powerful affirmations'they must be in present tense. You shouldn't put it into the future.
For example:
I will lose 20 pounds.
I will quit smoking.
I will run a marathon.
I will earn 10.000 USD per month.
Those affirmations “leave you in the future”. They will never manifest.
Instead of that you should use:
I'm losing 20 pounds.
I'm quitting smoking.
I'm running marathon.
I'm earning 10.000 USD per month
Some authors suggest using positive words instead of negative ones. In example above it would make another version of first two sentences:
I'm in perfect shape.
I'm smoking free.
After putting together yours favorite list of affirmations, and before actually using it, I suggest using technique called “inner smile”. Simple smile before actually do your affirmations. This extra energy would boost your affirmations. And at the end - please experiment. We are so different beings in our thoughts that everyone should discover unique way for spiritual development.
